Virgin Broadband Extras Going

Virgin Broadband Extras are going on Monday (16th) and are said to be replaced with something called 'My Stuff'.

Anyone know what this is and whether it will be any use (unlike the extras)?

I don't even know my e-mail address or account details for my connection.

I'm still using my dial up account e-mail.

your account number will be on your bill and your username will be the first part of your email address that they assigned for you.

mine is sort of like lh00291k39@blueyonder.co.uk with the bold bit beeing my account name obviously not my real one

My stuff is just going to be a file storage service nothing more (I got that information with the confirmation that my broadband speed will be going up to 10MB soon)

Yep it will be an area to backup/store your photos etc.

Its called 'V Stuff'.

I was never given an email address/password either... I see a trend forming lol

I emailed them but they can't give out the details via email and I've never bothered to waste my time phoning up.

I forgot my comcast email password about 12 years ago and still haven't got round to having it reset.

If you ever had dial up from the cableinet/blueyonder days then you would have a user name & password that is used for email, If not it is best getting in contact with them over the phone. It is odd that they don't show it clearly on any letters when you first sign up to the service.

they never gave me my email or password either, again i tryed to email but they said they couldn't give it out over email. good to know it wasn't just me

SO by them encouraging you to upload and download from your storage they push you to the throttle barrier quicker than normal
