Car was detailed today (Posh Wash)

Now that winter is out the way I've treated the car to a posh wash to get all the crud thats been building up over the past few months.

Took the guy 5 hours and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. A few not very good pics, but will try and get the car out to somewhere a little more photogenic later.

Although I don't really see why you bothered. I remember once watching fifth gear and Jason Plato said he treats all his cars like ash trays and has never had any trouble impressing the women. They see a clean car as a sign the man will just spend his entire life cleaning it. I washed my Focus last week for the first time since September.

I don't use my car as a bin, but i don't really care about the cleanliness of my car atm because i'm in norway and it gets dirty in about 25 minutes

Plato has no problem impressing women because he's Jason Plato, not because his cars are filthy.

I'm pretty sure the people here clean their car for it to be clean, and the high probability that they are obsessive compulsives, not to pick up chicks

What has cleaning your car got to do with picking up women? there wasn't even a hint of a suggestion of that...he probably just wants his car which he presumably paid thousands of pounds for to be kept nice.

I clean my car because I dont want to get covered in grub when I get in it, and I dont want to sit in a litter bin inside.
