***Official Wrath of the Lich King Thread***(Contains spoilers)***

I quit about 2 months ago, been playing for 2 years, got to lvl 78 and one day just thought this is the same old crap. No thanks, not been on since.

Shift Click?

And then if i press it, it just does it all for me?

Or do i keep pressing it?

Apologies should have been more specific. Ingame you can shift click an item to link it in chat for example. So rather than manually typing each spell in the macro, I usually open my spellbook and then shift click the spell as if I were linking it into chat while I am creating my macro. So to recap:-

#showtooltip (if you select the question mark icon then the icon will change depending on what spell you are casting)
/castsequence reset=5 [click spell one], [click spell two], [click spell three], etc.

I then drag the macro to a key and spam the key in combat :D

#showt#showtooltip
/castsequence reset=6/combat/shift Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Blood Strike, Blood Strike, Icy Touch, Death Coil, Plague Strike

My mate originally sent me this....

Is this wrong?

Isn't 24% low for a S Priest? Holy should be aiming for 30% crit pre 3.1 (I know nothing about shadow btw haven't specced it at all in wrath)

24% is no issue for a SP, one of the best Shadow Priests on my server runs only 21% crit + 4% in talents and makes massive dps.
Crit on holy is important for inspiration procs, but on a SP they have so many dots running its not a problem.

Remember shadow's dot's crit for 100 percent now. So in short more crit will mean more chance your dots crit for double damage.

Currently in live crit scales our dots, meaning crit isn't a bad stat at all - in short if you have 10 percent crit, your dot's will do 10 percent more damage.

this i know, but its still a lower value stat than spell power for a shadow priest as spl pw increases all dots not just the crits.

if given a choice between 16 crit or 19 spl power, 19 spl power will net greater dps

True, but I am pointing out that crit is no longer a useless stat for priests.

Enough theory crafting hasn't been done yet I don't think though on the new changes...
