Suspect ebay bidder - need some advice.

this has happened to me a few times in the past on phones I've sold with a BIN price. I think it's free to re-list your item isnt it? you only get charged your original insertion fee and no extra fee for relisting it??

now days when I list anything I always specify UK bidders only and people with less than 5 feedback to email me first before bidding. I also set the BIN price to "require imediate payment". This I've found seems to put a few of these scammers off because until they pay the auction doesnt end and get taken off
 
A colleague of mine had a similar thing happen recently...

False 'you have received payment' messages, followed a few days later by emails from the 'Metropolitan Police' claiming they are breaking the law by not send the item and that the goods should be dispatched to Mr Nigerian immediately.
