You could say the same about riding a bike, swimming, the list goes on. I have 3 kids aged 3, 4 and 7, two trampolines (8ft and 12ft) and never a single mishap. The TP range are built with safety in mind and as long as you don't let 2 kids on at once I can't see the problem.
