Jade dies

If someone posted in GD saying "MY MUM HAS JUST DIED FROM CANCER" - I doubt there would be a single post saying "It happens all the time, get over it".

Some of you will gladly send conolences to someone you dont know yet when it is someone with media coverage, you get on the high horse of "It happens all the time, get over it"?

I dont get it.

Reasonable point. However when someone comes on here saying their mum/dad/cat just died you are offering the condolences straight to them, not up into the air at nothing. Only if Jade's husband/kid/whatever came on and said "wahhh Jade died", would it be a fair comparison.

I dont get it.
There isn't much to get, yet I concur the behaviour of others perplexes me.

Some people are being polite. Others choose not to be.

I expect those complaining at others showing their remorse for Jade Goody are ironically the exact same people who were vocal in their anger at the recent Muslim protesters.

Perhaps that would be because there wouldn't be an unwarranted media circus around it

I'd go with the idea being suggested to her monkey-brain rather than something she came up with herself, but we'll never know..

RIP

I dont see anything wrong with creating a media circus around herself so that her kids would want for nothing in life, get the best education etc. If the public weren't watching these TV shows and buying copies of Hello and Ok magazine to read all about it then the media circus would have faded ages ago.

At least she has raised awareness of this kind of cancer and that it can occur in younger women. Cervical smears are now being recommended to younger women... about time considering the number of chavs in this country getting it on at 11.

Surely you would do anything for your kids?

If I could get £1m+ for my kids simply for allowing cameras to follow me around during my last days on earth, would I do it, YES I WOULD.

It was the media who put her on the pedestal in the first place, they chose her remember, blame the media and those who consume it, not her.

EDIT:

Reginald, we posted at the same time although appear to be making pretty much the same statement.

I have had the same spam text 3 times from 3 different people today about her.

Cancer is a horrible thing and its sad that she died so young but I don't know her and would rather not hear about it everyday in the paper and everywhere.

RIP Jade, my thoughts are with her children and the rest of her family x

Shame on the thread deraileurs

Yes today is indeed sad, my mum was in a small car accident.. it wasnt mums fault...got hit by a pregnant chav who then screamed at her..her drug dealer boyfriend then turned up and shoved her! Poor mama was "shaken". :(

Is any-one else thinking thank **** for that?

I'm sorry but many people die of cancer everyday and its very sad, but this common skank decides to make as much money by lookin as ill as possible and the british public talking about her and feeling sorry for her like shes family.
