Had a full milltek stainless system fitted to the VXR.

no, the astra does, as they get the Emissions Error Light come on with Sports Cats (100 cell) or with a decat

no such problem with the vectra. Its all in the precat which is all thats left in my system. One of the blokes on Vectra-C has done this with his old shape Vec C 3.2 GSI.

Passed emissions test no problem :)

A free Miltek system is indeed a good mod :D How many miles had it done with the previous owner? Had one on the RS for about 30,000 miles now and it just seems to get better sounding :p

so is there a gain to be expected? nice lil upgrade

nobody seems quite sure.

Theres only a few thousand vectra VXRs tops, and milltek are no longer vauxhall approved. They had a fall out a few years ago, and Remus are now the vauxhall approved brand.

However, milltek still make it, and its sold by several of the vauxhall tuners, with thorney motorsport as the Sole UK Distributor of it (and the other vxl tuners buying it from them)

Because they had a fall out, and not many people have it. Theres no official figures what it does. Somebody on the VXR forums fitted a decat centre section to his standard exhaust and lost 40 lb/ft of torque. In theory the milltek should be no different from standard being the same 2.5 diamater. However, the highest remap torque ever recorded was 414 lb/ft with an aftermarket backbax alone.

So theres lots of unasnwered questions, as i dont think anybody has been on an RR with one, with a standard car.

Until i take mine to our RR in may :D

I dont know exactly, but it was on a demo car of a certain tuner. I cant say who, as the deal was stricly 2nd hand cash only via a third party. But it wont have done many ;)
