some of you know that we have recently been over to India to volunteer in an Indian Orphanage "Aarti Home" that was featured in a BBC television programme - some of you kind folk have also made very generous donations for our trip too - many thanks once again.

We are now part of the Aarti family and working hard as volunteers in the UK to achieve a number of things that they desperately need so now I am asking for your help once more - I need your brain cells for a few moments please . . .

The most pressing need in Aarti Home right now is for Volunteers from the UK - we are looking for volunteers who either are Teachers or volunteers who could teach for placements of 6-12 months or more.

THERE ARE NO VOLUNETEER FEES TO PAY - EVER - Aarti Home will provide volunteers with accommodation and food and may even be able to pay a modest "local" salary to successful applicants.

So we are BLITZING as many avenues as we can to get the "we need volunteers" message out there and we need to cover ALL bases - so please can you help us make a list of who we should be speaking to - no matter how obvious it may be - just list it here.

Are you a registered charity? If so what's your charity number please? I did look on your webpage but couldn't see it (probably me just missing it).

Perhaps get in touch with some unis and ask if you can send off an email to all their third years looking to take a year out?
 
Hope you dont mind me hijacking the thread but id be very interested in some short term volunteering.

Are there any sites which list things like this with NO FEES ?

Or do the same to 6th years leaving school maybe send out flyers or posters
