Dave's Insanity Ghost Pepper Sauce

I don't know what it was, but when I was in Texas a good few years back I had a pot of chilli and the sauce they used was like what I imagine putting a red-hot poker straight onto your tongue. The heat was immense, I've never felt such pain from food before and I love my spicy/hot stuff.

Always thought spices this strong were for people who have previously destroyed their taste buds? The only guys I know who eat strong chillies like these have no sense of taste and need the strong stuff to be able to taste their food...

Do any of those actually have good flavour?
It's so hard finding a good chilli sauce.
Blair's Original Death Sauce sounds like it may have a good flavour?

Original Death is very nice indeed - tastes very fresh and light. It's not particularly hot, however, but a nice entry into the world of sauces hotter than Tabasco.

For those looking for flavour with a punch, Blair's After Death hits the spot. It's awesome in soup or mixed into table sauces like ketchup.

I get all my hot sauces from http://www.scorchio.co.uk. Their delivery times are simply amazing and I've just come to the end of a 6-month membership in their Hot Sauce club. Quite fun knowing there's a random sauce coming every month.

The ones I got over time in the club were :

Blair's Original Death
Eaton's Jamaican Crushed Peppers
Chilipepper Pete's Smokin' Dragon's Blood
Nitro Naga Extreme Edition
Dave's Insanity Sauce (original)
Bee Sting Honey 'n' Habanero

All of them are great in their own way, even those that don't pack much heat had their uses. The only disappointment really was the Nitro Naga as I was like "Ohh yeah! A naga sauce!" when I opened it, but the heat is actually very very mild. It tastes great though - very tomatoey so makes a good table sauce.

I've watched someone take drops of the 16mill shu extract (pure capsaicin) direct onto tongue and it not even phase them, just like this guy:

but have also seen someone in tears after I added 6 drops of tobasco to a pot of chilli.

People should remember that some of these stores do some amazing other sauces that aren't necessarily hot.

The Bee Sting sauce mentioned above is lovely... and I've also been looking for some Iguana Cayenne pepper sauce but failed last time I looked, that stuff is gorgeous.

Just thought I'd resurrect this to recommend the "Anchor Bar Original Wing Sauce - Suicidal Strength". Made some wings with it a couple of weeks ago and it is absolutely amazing. Blows any other wing sauce I've tried right out of the water.

I wolfed down 12 wings, loving it. The Mrs. ate 3 and started crying. Fantastic stuff.

I tried some Daves insanity hot sauce. Put a big splodge on my finger...

the heat from it is unreal. Its such a dry vicious heat that almost makes you feel high or something.

Try it straight if you wana experience the force of it lol

I tried a pin ***** sized amount once and although I was in great pain, the adrenalin rush was superb. Although I thought I was nearly dead, I wanted to do it again afterwards - LOL.

my friend tried it when he was hammered, had about a tea spoon of it, when i got up in the morning, he was in the freezer and had milk all over his face and clothes. he 'drank' about 6 pints of milk that night to try and get rid of the burning

he didn't look pretty the next day

ROFL

Well so far I have had a finger end dabbed in to the sauce and ate that, its pretty warm like, hotter than anything I have tried before and it keeps going for about 30 min, its such a dry heat aswell.

Need someone to do the teaspoon test tho :)

You lot must have steel ring pieces, anything hotter than Nandos hot sauce and my barking spider is sucking water from the pan the next day!

Wonder if this hot spicy stuff actually does any damage to your insides?!
