That's what I thought also.

Anyway it looked quite inconsistent if I'm being honest, first part of the tech demo was meh then the jungle/forest looked very similar to the PC version, I'd have to see it in HD to formulate a proper opinion though, anyway glad there is a new engine out there for license, hopefully there should be some good game made on this, I know a lot of people aren't particularly fond of the game on here but I'd like to see a Crysis port.

I think it does look a lot worse in the jungle/Crysis-ish areas, but in the other areas I can't really compare as I've only seen CryEngine 2 on one game and nearly all of it was set in a jungle.

There's still a bit of confusion about whether it's on PC or not. But if it's console exclusive, and that trailer was a console render, then that's pretty much the best looking console game right there :cool:

Looks extremely good if that's it running on the 360 or ps3, if this is on the pc like the video placement suggests, well then I would probably say it's at least no better than engine 2...

Smoke looks nice, some nice lighting in places too, the forrest was the highlight for me, but still too stuttery for my tastes!
