Internet provider to cease trading who next?

I can't fault Titan for connection speed or reliability and their support (to resolve a BT database problem) was second to none.

Sky is the only broadband in the country with no fair usage policy on their unlimited package, I love it, fast speeds all the time, good pings, few downtimes.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was just based on his own experience.

No offense by that, but people very quick to slate something if they have a negative experience of it, even though there are a load of other variables that could cause the problems that aren't controlled by the ISP.

While be state they have a fair-usage policy, I couldn't tell you what it was.

I consider myself a very heavy user, I can and do download hundreds of GBs a month with my max being close to a TB, but I've never heard from be, they've never complained I'm using too much bandwith, so while there may be a FUP it doesn't really look like it's being enforced.

Sky Broadband Max now offers a truly unlimited broadband service with no fair usage policy restrictions and no broadband speed caps. If you sign up for our Sky Broadband Max service it means you will be free to download as much as you want, whenever you want.
We also promise to customers taking our Base, Mid or Max products that we won't slow down connection speeds at peak times. So whether you want to download a movie at 7am or a music track at 7pm, you'll still be able to enjoy the same consistent speed.

I'm also a very heavy downloader, and there's another two of me in the house basically, all doing the same.
Any other ISP and we would hit the limit within a few days, I used to at home before I came to uni.

Download limits is the reason I don't want to move into halls!

Another happy Be customer here. Two connections regularly go over 100GB / month, sometimes three times that. Backup my business server to home over the connection and download / stream whatever I want. Never had much of a slow down at peak times, never had any complaints from Be :D

O2 are rubbish, i've been getting pings of 124ms and download speeds of around 1meg for over 2 weeks.

If it isnt fixed on the April 14th date they have give people i'm off!

Check out the O2 forum on www.adslguide.org.uk for more info how crap they have become!
