If you believe that advert, you'll believe anything. There's no scientific evidence to show that they work and they aren't approved by the American FDA, if that wasn't enough it should be clear from key stage 2 science that it can't possibly work.

Except for the money you wasted. It's this attitude that annoys me, it results in these con artists making loads of money, leading to many more of these scams perpetuating.

Paula Radcliffe swears by it as well as many other atheletes. The technology and science behind it is there if you do the research.

Ok, I'll bite. Show me MULTIPLE, peer reviewed studies that prove these are anything more than a placebo and I will go away, very quietly. If you had an ounce of medical knowledge you would realise this a load of junk designed to do sweet FA. You see loads of these products, the latest wonder pill that cures everything from arthritis to haemorrhoids or a bracelet that realigns your energy. Just because they say a few sports people wear em doesn't mean that they work. Sure, try it, but you will be wasting your money and if you feel better it will be because your muscles (or what is giving you a problem) will be healing by themselves and not because you started wearing a necklace.

They are not scientists, testimonials are not any kind of scientific evidence (lets not even get into the issue of bribery). Never take any notice of testimonials ever.
No it isn't, hence why the American food and drug administration have not approved it and Professors have discredited it, I have looked at the research.
I am a 1st yr biology/cs student, not an expert, but educated in the field enough to know that this concept is totally flawed and have posted facts to support it.
You don't need to be "retarded" to be scammed, just ignorant, which most people are. They do not have the required knowledge to make informed judgements on virtually any kind of medical treatment, hence why we have doctors.
I just don't want to see others wasting their money on this or any other "alternative" (read quack) medicine.

I went to see a Chinese Herbalist who found where my Chi entered my body and it just so happened to be on my left elbow.
He sold me a pot of jelly like substance for £99 that I rub on my Chi point and it does have a significant improvement when I'm out running.
