no longer available :(

again no longer available why oh why can people just grow up and accept there funny pictures and stop complaining what a bunch of morons

Among them were a woman who had moved house to escape a violent partner but who was recognisable outside her new home on Street View.

Chances of him finding her on Street View? Practically zero, would probably have more of a chance of bumping into him in real life.

Also complaining were two colleagues pictured in an apparently compromising position who suffered embarrassment when the image was circulated at their workplace.

You got caught out, if you didn't want to be caught, go somewhere private.

I'll be utterly ****** off if it gets closed down, its a great laugh.

Why is that then?

So that we can official write and suggest that all these busybodies go away somewhere else as they are not wanted in this country - they should campaign against active servailance like CCTV (which is real time) rather than against dated images on Google.

The people complaining and lodging complaints about this application are part of the reason why the rest of the ****ing World think we're a laughing stock.

my personal opinion I cant see how its invading privacy, when people in the street are taking photos all the time and then there up on facebook flickr etc yes this is a a lot more widley used but images are blurd theres a report function and google is normally pretty good at privacy etc so I cant see an issue

there probably the people who were in the compromising positions and dont want other people to know

The issue for me is the height from which the photo's were taken, for a person on my street to get a similar view into my house then they would need to climb a step lader and point a camera into my house, which believe it or not is a breach of privacy. Google should only be allowed to turn street view on once they have retaken all the pictures from no more that 6ft up
