If anyone on here likes their metal... please come and check out my band Ascension!

We have just released our debut EP, which is pretty spiffing even I do say so myself - you can hear the demo tracks and stuff on our myspace and all the info about buying it is there too... It is £5 GBP inc free delivery!

Yes it is.... plus those are the demo tracks - the EP is far better!!

I think you're missing something - you won't find anything Herman Li in our songs... our inspiration comes from many other power metals bands that we sound more like than Dragonforce!! Dragonforce doesn't = Power Metal!!

Thanks my friend!! They are on the mp3 demos, however the EP release has proper drum recordings!

Hahah nothing like a bit of prog/power metal, when you're in the right mind. Reminds me a bit of Power Quest (without so much cheese), quite like the demo tracks, if not for the poor balancing and recording in some areas (which you mention are demo/myspace issues). Cover some Sonata Arctica (Black Sheep or My Land could work well), you know you want to

You should have played 'Hunting High and Low' by Strato too, more epic feeling

If you come down to the Milton Keynes area (The Pitz or perhaps one of the pubs, like Crauford Arms), if I'm not working I'd drop by

Looks promising though, nice to see some bands coming up that aren't just radio fare!

Unluckily I'm a little over an hour drive from both, right in the damned middle!
