Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

Whilst in Crewe the other day i spotted a V8 Vantage with the plate 'V8 VVR'. Now a guy has told me, that the chap who owns the Aston owns VVR Racing, with Europes most powerfull Lotus, first race is 4th April, owner drives the Lotus, number 11, BRIGHT ORANGE.

Heres the car.

LOLZ hard at the Ferrari 250GTO "replica"

Some guy had an MR2 kitted as a 355 in our local filling station, he was looking around to see who was looking at him, i was forced to shout over "what made you do that to an MR2" he didn't look happy.

There's one of those down my way, Brighton, never had chance to have such a great encounter though! We also have some retard who's stuck Ferrari badges on a yellow Alfa GTV :/

I don't understand how that company ^ gets away with it.

Their Lambo kit is actually moulded off a real car! Surely there is some sorta infringement?

Saw a black CLK DTM AMG yesterday, and it looked gorgeous. It had a weird numberplate though, which looked like this:

Can anyone think what it could have been, other than illegal? :p

Does this count? Found it whilst having a browse at that new Google Street thing...

I don't understand why that company bothers.

They obviously have the skill so why not make something new and different. All you accomplish with those replicas (IMO), is fooling the general public, but making yourself look a complete nob to people who can tell what it is. Also, they never, ever, sound like the real thing, so that's half the battle lost when it comes to these cars.

To be fair watching that video I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the real and fake ones, although I suppose the fibreglass would be more obvious IRL.
