I will be leaving Ko Tao in a weeks time. From Ko Tao I will be heading downwards to Phuket, Krabi etc (already done Ko Phangan and Samui) then onto Malaysia (just KL I think) then Singapore.

I only have 16 days to do all of that. I think I will need 3 days for Singapore and 2/3 days for KL leaving about 10 days to do the Phuket, Krabi, Phi Phi, Ko Lanta etc. How would you spend your time in that area?

Thanks for any help.

ahhhhh Phi Phi, so many fond memories, I spent 3 months there with my Girlfriend teaching Diving, so top of the list would be diving and copious amounts of it! as Yo are already on Koh Tao, Im guessing you have done diving already, but hell..... yo ant seen nothing yet, Phi Phi is a national park, so no fishng is alowed, lots and lots of fish! Go and see A lady called Carlieen, she works at a Dive center called Baracuda, tell her Dolly and AJ sent you, she will sort you out ;-) (maybe some discount too!) Dont whatever you do go on a big tourist boat to go and see 'the beach' Instead hire yourself a narrowboat for half a day and pack your snorkel and fins, Get the man to take you to Bida Noc and do some free diving!!!

Do some surfing on phuket, good waves there, and surfboad rental is cheap, also hire a motorbike and cruise up the east and west coast, hitting the south west tip for sunset.... Awesome!

Krabi and Ko Lanta I cant help you with, never got there sadly, always working!!!

Ah I miss It so. Take lost of photos, then post them, I would like to see it!

Have fun!

AJ

Oh and one more thing, if you do hire a motorbike, ALWAYS take your driving licence with you and wear your helmet, The cops do random stop checks, the fine is not massive, but the paperwork is a pain in the arse. Trust me, we learnt the hard way!

after phangan/tao/samui i found phiphi boring

it was small, expensive, commercial and apart from some lovely beaches, didnt have much else for me..

Phi Phi is paradise, it maybe expensive in thai terms but in terms of tropical paradise islands it is a stonking bargin. Thankfully the party scene is nothing like it is on some of the other islands it's a much more relaxed place. Sit back read a book and soak up some rays before experiencing some of the best snorkling and diving anywhere in the world.

I spend most of my days wishing I was still on Ko Phi Phi
