Occupation risk groups - insurance

Does anyone have a link for the risk-groups for various professions? I've found ones for car and postcode, but not jobs. My job could technically come under a few different titles, so want to find which would be best to put down

So why is there such a difference based on job title? I mean I could understand there being a difference between two vastly different jobs but between computer engineer and computer consultant? Surely the risk would be somewhat the same?

No getting round mine because they don't have an Entry for Ambulance Dispatcher or 999 Call taking supervisor. So i'm an Ambulance 'Controller' (I wish!)

The results are based on sampling, always double check by getting an actual quote from your insurer

In other words, it's mostly going to make jack **** of difference.

When I changed my status from Student to Mechanical engineer midway through my policy it went down by £6

Just did it..........

Data processing manager (as close as I could get) comes out as £666

Mechanical Engineer comes out as £679

Mechanical Designer (which I could use) comes out as £666 again.
