ive just got off the phone to Masterchef!

I've just had a very surreal moment as I've just finished on the phone to a very polite lady about an application i made what seems like a very long time ago for masterchef.

I was asked questions about how oftern i cook, how many i cook for, if i had one what would my "signature dish" be, what stuff i do cook, if i use recipe books or not, why i want to be on masterchef, what i would want to achieve should i win and do i believe i could win masterchef.

not what i was expecting on a normal thursday afternoon.

anyone else ever applied or been on anything similar as this has just blown me away - more due to the random nature of the call i feel but also as im a massive masterchef fan?

No unfortunatly there is no guarentee that i will be on it and if i was asked i would have to attend auditions first i suppose to make sure im not too camera shy or foul mouthed.

And its not the type of questions i was not expecting it was the phone call that i was not expecting, its not a regular thing to be contacted and asked about my passion for cooking.

Big if but if i find out im going to be on it im sure ill update

If you get on your signature dish must use a loaf of hovis somewhere.

A good friend of my wife's went on masterchef a couple of years ago, enjoyed it but found it quite stressful IIRC.
