Hi guys, im currently looking for a new car, but the bad thing is my budget is poor (£1500) but aslong as i can get something that should last me a year with not much maintance ill be happy.

Needs to be big enough for a pushchair in the back, car seat etc. Im not really fussed about manual or auto. ( No speccing of mondeo's tho please :p )

Been looking around auto trader for the past few days, and a couple of them below are what i like the look of so far, what do you think?

Nissan Almera

Misubishi Lancer

BMW

And a Civic

My car history. Ford Escort, Hyundai Coupe, Civic EG, Civic EK, MR2, Rover 200 (lol). Also drove Almera, Primera, Focus, Megan. And i deffiantly prefer the way jap cars drive, and from my exsperaince are the only cars ive never had a problem with, ford being the worse (This info is probably a waste, but never mind)

Any advise is welcome :)

Yeah im guessing it's not going to be approved lol, but i really like the look of them (Obviously would prefer something newer, but funds tell me i dont like them, lol)

would steer clear of 5 series' for that money, could potentially get very expensive.

Honda civic vti-s
Primera GT

are the cars i would be looking at if you prefer jap. Good example can be had within you budget, and won't require much maintenance at all.

You'd have an Almera but not a Mondeo. Eh?

Never rated ford, dont even like the way they drive, never mind from people i know with fords i personaly think they are the most un-reliable cars. Ill probably get slated for that, but they are deffinatly at the bottom of my list.

Going to have a look around for an accord now, see whats about for my budget. Cheers guys
