Battlefield Heroes Beta - Anyone else playing ?

Well it's back up again, bit on the slow side but now you can buy battlefunds to dress up and equip your hero. Not sure I'll bother with that.
 
Not checked my email this week and having done so today found i've got a key. So installing now and will give it a bash later.
 
Aye am loving this, t'is loads of fun! :D

Dunno what Revolution is saying about it being Battlefield by name only though :confused:, it's exactly the same? It's just a cartoony conquest mode!
 
To me it doesn't feel like Battlefield at all, that doesn't make it a bad game, it's just not that Battlefield feeling that you get with others in the series. I'll probably play it from time to time, but the price of the items is just crazy especially when they only last a month.

I take it you're Xenoxide on BFH also? Think I saw you running around last night.

Xenoxide is one of my characters in it, aye. :D Also playing under MrHobbles.

I agree about the price of the stuff though, it's extortionate, especially considering you're just "renting" it. It's also the reason I splashed out for the pirate outfit...it's the first (And probably the last) outfit that'll last forever without having to pay for it again, and as it's only available until April 15th (ie. Before the game goes live) it'll be fairly unique. :)

Just played my first game.

Initial thoughts are that for what it is, its not bad.

I'd be tempted to get a server for it if it takes off.

And, only a minor complaint but while in a tank, I fired at someone square in the head and they just walked through the explosion?

If thats not a bug and "by design" - Thats messed up.
