It's a low poly model for games, im not going to go over the top with the details.

Yep

Started from a sphere and just pushed and pulled away at it...

Was watching a lot of 24 at the time so lots of torcher scenes on the mind

Another not-too-expensive app, with very fast (in 3D terms) quality rendering is Modo.

It also has an importer for (amongst other things) Sketchup, which is a great place to start modelling.

i really wanna get into 3d animation and CG, cant find any good beginner tutorials though..
should hopefully be studying it in uni
