will GTX280 have power to MAX all games with this resolutions?

CHEEERSSS

go with a 1080p model, i brought a viewsonic 22" hd1080p earlier this week and my pc performs brilliantly with all the eye candy and max res, even fear 2 runs with full settings and gives me a minimum of 40fps, so your 280 will be fine.

I've got the 24" version of that Dell and it's just a superb monitor for the money! I'm using a less powerful card than you with a gtx260 and it's fast enough for that res :)

I'm using the Dell 23" your thinking about. Very good monitor nice and big, but id go for the asus simply because of the hdmi connection

Don't go for a monitor that has a res less than 1920* or your 280 will be wasted :p
Personally I prefer 16:10 (1920*1200) to 16:9 (1920*1080) for a monitor. 16:19 seems a bit squashed.

thanx for replies mates!

I wonder is 1920x1080 for 22" is good? my friend said that he read so bad reviews on 22" monitors with this resolution...?

HDMI is same quality as DVI, it just includes an audio signal too. As I said b4, Id recomend a 24" with 1920x1200, the one I first linked to is within your budget

It's personal preference, the pixels per inch will be pretty high, so text and stuff will appear smaller. Also your monitor isn't going to be very tall. personally I'd take a trip to a shop to see some monitors and see what you think.

Yeah it is a good monitor but has a slower response time.
I got my monitor for £155 including delivery from a competitor.

Which is the £50 cheaper monitor?
