So redbull just lost money.

Indeed.
A can of red bull costs at least twice a regular can of soft drink.

Thats becasue its the sweat of chuck norris

they don't need to advertise though really, they did a good job at the start, i would be surprised if anyone from uni didn't know about them before this pr stunt.

Evidently not a business student.

If people like you post RED BULL on teh internetz then people like me and the other readers may think mmmmm ice cold can of Red Bull which we otherwise may not of if you didn't post this, thus leading to us buying one and them making a profit. Also works by you telling your friends about the event, it's called 'gorilla marketing', using daft methods of marketing that stick in your head.

i assume he means, send us all an I7 and mobo, and look how many orders you get in, don't think about the idea too much though as you'll realise it won't work, just do it ;)

redbull is crap though, tastes evil, has little caffeine in it. Whats so bad with buying 100 caffeine pills for like £3, rather than spending £5 on proplus for the same tablets but 8 of them or whatever it is, and simply take cheap plain non additive, non evil tasting, not incredibly bad for you caffeine with a little water.

Frankly I don't get upset by all the additives and other junk in drinks as some do, like the people who freak out over sucralose or aspartame, but I don't see the point in spending lots on a very expensive can when I can take a 1p caffeine tablet that is healthier, ridiculously cheap and stronger, or I can take a quarter or one.

Are you sure it's not just lunch that makes you focus better? It's been scientifly proven that afternoon at around 2 to 3/4 oclock is the most productive. I know myself that at that time Iam more perky than in the morning.
Unless your my mother who prefers to just "rest" her eyes.

No, I have one at 10 am at leisure, and it perks me up pretty much soon after.

Red Bull tastes nice, I like it. I might buy some cans this weekend because 1) I saw 4 F1 cars driving around in the GP on Sunday which reminded me that I like Red Bull, and 2) I've seen this thread which has reinforced the thought that was already there.

And LOTS of people will do the same. It's marketing, it works.

So yes, they will make money from this exercise.
