Crysis Warhead to play or not to play?

I have just bought Crysis Warhead and Crysis for my new i7 pc and Warhead was delivered today and Crysis will be delivered on Friday. Would you say it spoils the story if I am too eager and play Warhead tonight before playing the first?

Nope, all you need is there's a nice island full of hostile humans, who then get wtfpwnt by nasty aliens.

But I think you'd be better playing Crysis first from a gameplay point of view, as Warhead is better in that respect.

install it, and wait for crysis imo..

personally, i prefer crysis to warhead anyway

Warhead was for me the better game. Playing Crysis first may also go some way to explaining just why Psycho is doing what he is doing during Warhead as he's in Crysis for a few levels before he goes off to start his own one man war.

If you want a feel for the game now you could always try Crysis Wars, should be boxed in with Warhead. Basic Multiplayer modes and I think theres a small community for it.

Is the multiplayer not strong then? That would be a shame as I have heard so much about this game.

Its not as strong as it should be. The problem was that when they released Crysis, they released a rather shoddy multiplayer that wasn't amazing to play. Crysis Wars addresses this but by this time many players had already given up on it. Like I said, there are still people playing it though i'm not sure as to how many as i've not played it in the past few months.

Play Crysis first

Both amazing games in my opinion. Crysis is a more tactical game than Warhead, need to go for headshots on Crysis wheras on Warhead you can just cause mayhem.

TBH they both need much harder difficulty settings. Played the first couple of levels on Crysis again on Delta, and it was too easy. I found warhead to be better for playing tactically

Both are awesome. As to the difficulty, I'd like the Korean ground troops to be more dangerous. When they have mounted guns, or control of guns on APC's they are far too evil at times. The Aliens are such a step up in difficulty over the Koreans too imo.

Aliens are too weak, I mean, they came to earth from light years away yet a whole army of them can't take down a pansy human in a crappy (relatively speaking) nano suit.

Just be weary of the superhuman gun-boat troops, who seem to be able to spot you from the other side of the map and don't hesitate in getting their gun on!

your forgetting that in original crysis a single hit from an alien basic trooper kills you on delta, lol :confused:

not even gonna go into those squiddies with the MOAC, how exactly are they weak? sure they have retarded AI but they lethality makes up for that on delta...
