Pixelation With BBC HD On Freesat

Last night when watching "The Real Italian Job: James Martin's Mille Miglia" on BBC HD, I got quite a bit of pixelation during the program (first time I have had any pixelation since setting this up a few weeks ago), also getting it again today on BBC HD, however, Luxe HD TV is fine, signal strength has not changed.

I am getting BBC HD via a Hauppauge WinTV Nova HD S2, DVBViewer and CoreAVC codec.

Is this a symptom of possibly needing to re-align the satellite dish again, or if not that, what else could be causing it?

Don't use coreavc. I think it does not display the raw image. Use ffdshow. Obviously it depends on whether your processor is up to the job.

Tried using FFDshow, but unfortunately it didn't cure the pixelation...

The cause of the pixelation turned out to be because the satellite dish had moved very slightly...

Meddling monkeys..... tell them you'll put them in the zoo if they don't stop unscrewing your dish.

This is why it's always a good idea to apply threadlock to the dish nuts once you're happy with the positioning of it.
