Tap in the sentence where you want the cursor using the stylus, you can even hold it down and drag stylus over words so that you highlight them so you can delete easier.

im browsing and posting on this now... and unless im missing something, there is no draggable scroll bar on the standard browser? Sure, theres an overview which you can use to scroll faster... but no scroll bar for instant jumping around a thread, like in opera?

it shows up when you scroll the page by dragging your thumb, but I'm not sure you can directly engage it.

Anyone found that scrolling through music is a bit too sensitive? I.e when I use the scroll bar I don't have to move it far and it shoots down the title list too quickly.

BTW, if anyone is interested...
Through Dialaphone and Quidco, 12 month contract with T-mobile with 300mins and 200txts works out at £15 per month. Can add unlimited internet through T-mobile for another £5pm.

got mine today and have been playing around with it.

the one thing that struck me is how good the touch screen is. I imiagined it would be abit (i think the word is) tacky. BUT IT'S NOT. set up a connection with my wireless internet at home and had a quick browse on the net.

the screen is crystal clear and the volume on the unit goes stupidly loud.

I have a few questions for the other 5800 users out there.

is there anyway to use the 'maps' feature through my wireless internet at home? i accidently clicked it and it went through the mobile internet( which will cost me a few pence as i don't have the internet add on.

also any cool apps to get?

No all A-GPS needs to use packet data from your cellular connection, so WIFI is a nono.

thanks mate. moved that icon into a 'not used' folder and put it in accessories Love the way you can customise the menu.

anyone know of any good apps or games out there? tried reading through this thread but it's massive!

P.s the camera is a lot better than i thought.

Thanks.

You can use the maps without paying, but you have to be quick and get to turn off positioning (options->tools->turn positioning off) and then it won't connect. Or you can just turn of a-gps (applications->location->positioning->postioning methods) and then you can just use the internal gps module (takes ages to lock even in ideal conditions though).
