Indeed, if they made theme hospital 2, but with similar 2D graphics it would own, with a load of new sicknesses to cure etc. i just like the cartoony 2D graphics, its what makes it theme hospital, not these glorified 3D crap. plus it makes it useable for laptop users as well as huge gaming rigs.

when i was hunting in the loft the other day for Rollercoaster Tycoon 1&2 i came across SimTower if anyone remembers it and some other Sim stuff

Maybe you can help me then. I've been playing your beta and I have real trouble managing my finances. No matter what I set my budget at my northeners complain about the price of things :confused:. The dad in particular seems to be stuck in some kind of loop moaning about how he didn't work 18 hours a day in t'pit so young 'uns could waste his money on fancy stuff like shampoo and "them mobile phone thingies".

Is this intentional? I'm having real difficulty completing the first level because of it.

Oh wow that brings back memories, think my SImTower disc is lying around somewhere... DOS and Win95 of course. That game was epic, spent many hours on that... not as many as I did on Sim City 2000 though.

Anyone else remember Sim Isle? I had the demo of that before release and played it quite abit, was at School at the time so couldn't afford to buy it :(

It was Theme Hospital not Hospital Tycoon :p

Hospital Tycoon was a poor... well not even a remake, just a rehash of what was successful in the past.

If anyone can find Sim Tower again, and get it working on 64bit Windows I would absolutely love you forever :D

I've tried getting it to work in Vista Home Premium 64bit for a while now with no luck :(

Ah yes my bad!

Also yes sim tower was class, I remember playing hours on this one, loved when a VIP showed in your tower and you could follow him, good memories
 
It's now a free download as it's abandonware, played it last night for an hour, still has its charm but too simple if you ask me.
