Surely Far Cry 2 is worth trying for £1

Just got Far Cry 2 for £1, surely even if it sucks that's worth it. Got Hells Highway for £1 also, can't complain.

Worth it for a punt, however already having tried it, no, no i wouldn't pay £1 for it because i know i'll hate it if you see what i mean.

I have noted that most people don't get on with it, and I'm not expecting much, but for £1 i'll try it.

What about Hells Highway is that any better, reviews seem mediocre for it.

FarCry 2 is awesome, screw haters.I played it all the way through and enjoyed it a LOT! But then again I like games that rely on ME to make the fun, as opposed to on designers who railroad me all the way (like CoD).

Good point. Although I've uninstalled it now, I did complete it - theres definately some fun to be had grenade-launchering a camp to soften it up, then going in all splinter-cell with a silenced pistol and taking people out 1 by 1.

I dont think it is as bad as some people are making out. Not the best game ever but still a laugh. cant beat running around with a sub machine gun, 50cal sniper and a rocket launcher

You can do that on a lot of games. Which are also much much better than farcry 2

I bought it for £45 on release date, then the next day i saw it online for £25.

The game has a some major flaws but I enjoyed it all the way through.......it has a bit of a 'fallout 3' ending in the way that it takes you back to the title screen once the main quest is over and you cannot complete other missions.

For £1 it is well worth playing.

Game is total rubbish in single player mode.

BUT the multiplayer is awesome fun

Definitely worth playing for £1 in my opinion.

Can't speak about Brothers in Arms : Hell's Highway though..

My brother in law is a store manager at the rip off orange shirt shop. Somtimes seen flying through space.

He rang an asked if I wanted them, I dunno probably a staff deal or something, I didn't question.
