Bit of an odd one but I can't help hating Scott Mills of Radio 1 fame.

He is doing my head in lately. I really enjoy Radio 1 in the afternoon but one thing is bugging me. He keeps bloody saying "I love you" to any old caller/prank victim/co presenter regardless of gender. He's only spoken to some of these people for a minute or too at most.

How the flip can he love them? Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh

Am I the only one who thinks this is annoying?

Ok, rant over.

He says that to pretty much anyone - it's been going on for years and is a sort of 'catch phrase' some of the items on his show can be annoying but some of it is really funny also he plays a lot more music than most of the other DJ's which I prefer.

M.

He always told people he loved them when I listened to his show and that was 3-4 years ago. I used to find it annoying back then, now I don't listen to him anymore and since then I miraculously stopped getting annoyed by it.

Strange that.

He did a feature a while ago where he would say it on the phone to people to see if they would say it back.
Since then he pretty much says it on every phone call.

Solution: listen to Radio 4, where people are (a) intelligent, (b) literate, (c) credible, and (d) coherent.

Don't get me started on that...

"I love you"

Erm noooooooooooooo you don't.

What is also winding me up is that "oh, what's occuring" game. Grrrrrrrrrr.

It never bothered me until last week.

It's like a little squeek from a case fan - most people would barely notice it, but once you do it seems like an orchestra of annoyingness.

Apparently assasination is illegal so I guess it is Cool FM (Northern Ireland) from now on :-(

Seriously? If you dont like it, turn it off or listen to classic fm.

Music on the radio these days is BORING as you hear the same songs, day in, day out, all the time, even when your not on the radio your gaurenteed to hear them in shops at home and god knows where else.

Radio banter is why i listen to the Chris Moyles show and Scott Mills, if they played more music than they did banter I would switch the music off and put on some music I actually enjoy
