hi guys, i'm currently lookingfor a shop that sells oakley sunglasses with doptre value. does any1 of you know a shop?

Vision express is where I get my Oakley RX's from...give em a call - not likely to be in stock though so will likely to be ordered from US of A - expect upto 10 days delivery time though they'll quote you up to 3 weeks I am sure.

I bought mine about 3 years ago and I think I paid just over 300 quid for the frames + lenses. Also they only had certain ranges at that time that could be ordered with prescription lenses. Took about 4 weeks or so for mine to be done and that was just a local opticians - I noticed when they came back the original lenses were in the box aswell.

I got the Oakley Corkscrew 4.0 from iris-spectacles for £170 (work payed half) around 3 years ago. At the time this was the best deal, not too sure if it still is. Went to the shop in Richmond-upon-Thames to see what frames I preferred. Cant fault em.

It depends, my normal daily glasses set me back £420 :eek:

Last month in Hong Kong i got a pair of Police Prescription Sunglasses (also with all the coating and thinnen) costs £150 !

My Oakleys prescription sunglasses cost $350 when I ordered them from the US.
Everywhere in the UK wanted £400+ for 'em! :eek:

(This was when the pound-dollar rate was much better incidentally)

I've just been on the Vision Express website and seen a real nice pair of Ray Ban frames (RB3385) which I'm going to have to seriously consider getting. I've not had a pair of sunglasses since my eyesight went bad.

i deal with black and lizars for my oakley stuff, i have 2 pairs of oakley sunglasses and 2 pair of oakley specs. Dealt with them for years and v prof.

I have dealt with vision express also, but usally a delay as they need to be shipped.

Try your local bike shops too, my wife got hers from one of my favourite locals ones. Cheaper than Vision Express, quicker and also got the info right first time. Vision Express took the order then waited a week before telling her she couldn't have that combo, took 10 minutes in the bike shop to get exactly what she wanted ordered and arrived 2 days later, despite Vision Express claiming it was impossible. Lad at work got a pair of Oakley normal glasses from V.E. too recently and they botched the order and took over 3 weeks to get them.

I managed to pick up a pair of Ray Ban frames (RB3273), including prescription lens, for a little over £50 (half price) in boots. There were a few other styles but I can't remember the specifics. Might be worth popping into your local store.
