This isn't going to be popular with some but I'd avoid French cheapies. Saab's are in a different league build quality wise and I think you would just be buying a big headache with a well used VTR.

I'm starting to realise that & like I say am more grounded today, I got that Must buy summit buzz yesterday :o + :D.
This MR2 I'm going to look at is Totally original apparently, As for the Saab being reliable well I have to say O RLY !!! :p

S'pose you're slipping into your race suit for a spot of Horse prancing today aren't you.
I really cannot imagine what it must be like to have that sitting on your drive, Just the build pics & paperwork would have me creaming for a month. :p

I Love the M69 it is the perfect motorway, Short & straight with great viewing distances & decent roundabouts at either end for a boot round. Coming off the M1 roundabout & kicking up the incline is Perfect when you have the car sat back on its butt, Get over the rise just when you need a decent to get the engine revving properly up in 5th for best top end, (About this time old junkers go BANG :D)
I Love the M69 but it's not my fave road, That is the A444 starting at the A5 end, It's the perfect road that gradually warms you up with nice bendy bits & then throws you into a succesion of Perfect high speed bends with nowt blocking your view so you can really push it & use All the road, I Love the A444 with a passion & Never took my bike out without going up & down it at least once. One time I ran it 4 times up & down one after tuther. :p

No matter how much my cheapy costs I'll still take it for a little joy spin but it will be around the triple 4 not Europe unfortunetly. Us men never grow up & it's great a. :p

T'is where I took an FTO for a test drive once, the guy thought I'd stolen it I'd been so long :D

I really think that a W124 mercedes may be worth a look mate. They are SO reliable. I have a wagon which is constantly full of bricks and rubbish, near on 200k, and its solid as a rock.
