I was driving my Golf to pick up my friend and had no choice but to drive over some roadkill on an NSL road.....it was huge and there was no way I could have braked in time. Needless to say, it has left a horrible mess and smell  I actually feel sick looking under the car....

I have a pressure washer, but no ramps....just a jack...Would a car wash have facilities to get rid of the dead stuff, or any other easy way of getting rid of it.

:(

Stop horsing around and get your hooves over to a local carwash and do the top wash which does undercarriage wash as well :)

I'd do that tbh before the neigh-bours complain about the smell.

Lucky it wasnt your 350! :D as mrk says get down the local car wash and get the best one they do. Pics please.

More likely you've got bits of dead animal stuck underneath your car.....bit of horse meat, hair and skin + hot exhaust = unpleasant combination.

Get it on a ramp and start scrubbing.

Went back to get photos and saw a fox running away with the body! Blood everywhere for about 30 meters.

The underside of the car has stuff hanging down and there is hair all over the place, no damage to the bodywork..

I don't know if any of the car washs round here clean under the car? Think I might have to take it to the local petrol station and use their pressure washer!

I was changing something to do with the suspension on my car once and found the hind leg of a rabbit I'd run over several weeks previously wedged in it with skin attached. It was pleasant!

lol. I know "ARC" car washes generally have underside cleaning if you choose the expensive wash.

I will ring them tomorrow. Do you think this would remove entrails from under it? or is it just a shot of water..?

Otherwise, I am going to jack the car up and pressure washer it :(

ARC doesn't wash cr@p in terms of the underside of the car! Well, not unless you think some low pressure garden sprinklers are going to do a job...And the 3 coloured foam they do is just a gimmick.

Read the thread, guys!
I did.

 As I say, thats one Hell of a Fox.:p:D

Turns out my dad saw it too.... apparently it was a large monkjack deer :( It's head is probably under my car somewhere..

Monkjack Deer are not that common imo, obviously, it was a Horse. Don't be so bloody silly. ;)

Am I the only one who realises that if you hit a horse with your car, dead or alive, the car isn't going to fare very well unless it's a Sherman tank? :D

Now that you've said it was a deer though, that clears it up! Or not, as the case may be. Good luck cleaning it all off :o
