Well Call of Duty is pretty naff overall, it hasn't even changed since 2. The campaign will be a generic middle east story with more respawning enemies and magical grenades along with over excessive auto aim in multiplayer. (on consoles)

Good cash cow though, I'd expect nothing less of Activision. ;)

But that doesn't explain how MW2 is going to be better and worth buying if you own COD4, which is my point.

Well you're right, but I think COD4 had a little something in the single player game. Of course, the AI was still totally crap and the grenades always found you(COD5 is worse on both parts) but I just about forgave those. I just really don't see how they can improve the multiplayer part so much as to make people all wet and excited over it. Sure the SP part will also be the same sort of thing but atleast with that there is a story element. Something which will make me buy MW2 though, is co-op for the whole of the campaign, offline and online :)

But and this is what I asked myself, why did you stop playing it?

In the main I played it online from the end of nov to the end of jan, then we pretty much stopped playing it except for a few days when we got back into it about 6 months ago.

I pretty much lost interest with Waw after about a week, I'm not sure if it was because I was just bored of the COD format or it was WAW because I've not played 4 more than twice since WAW either.
 
To be honest, I'll buy it even if it's just COD4 with new maps. My playtime on COD4 MP eclipses that of the play time of any other games combined on my 360.

Obviously I hope that's not the case but there isn't anything fundamentally wrong with modern warfare 1 that needs drastically changing for 2.
 
This trailer did not get me wet for the game at all..

kinda has the opposite effect



If this has zombies I will be very interested . Not much interest in multiplayer apart from that.
 
i just heard on the radio that its just called modern warfare 2 and they are dropping the call of duty part, true?

nvm i just saw the trailer :(

it does look sweeeeeet though
