Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Both my sticks are finally modded, but arcadeshop.de missed out a button and gremlinsolutions missed out the ball top so my green SE has a white ball and my custom red stick has a black madcatz button until their replacements arrive :(

That's the reason I never bought one, I always thought madcatz were associated with cheap tacky controllers that doley's bought so 3 more of there doley friends could use when they all did nothing all day.

I'm still holding out for a Tournament Edition one but still not convinced yet, they seem a much better quality but its a lot of money to invest.
 
It's working again now! Strange I switched the little switch from d-pad back to left stick and now it works perfect on both modes.

I'm not sending it back because I have Sanwa parts coming and I doubt anywhere near me has any to replace it with, certainly not driving an hour to get a replacement!

Don't forget that 2 buttons also bit the dust, they both stopped registering correctly (or well sometimes chose not to register) but now one of them is completely gone! Luckily it's an 8 button stick so I was able to swap them over. :p

What's your alias? I play a lot of local SFIV and have spent a lot of the past week testing various things for my stick so ignored invites (my friend also plays on my account online and ignores all you weird internet folk :p), although it's finished now :)

The sanwa makes an enormous amount of difference, and it is far easier to "catch" the diagonals when doing D DF F for a fireball.

I'm also starting to prefer the octagonal gate even for charge characters!

I'd prefer to keep arcade stick talk in my custom stick thread though to keep this one on the topic of SFIV :)
 
Just been getting to grips with my HFS3, it makes such a difference!
I've immediately got the urge to mod it, the buttons can wait, but I'd love to get an octagonal gate fitted.
Is it possible to put an octagonal gate onto the Hori stick without much hassle?
