gosh. i remember that sound. i used to hear it so often, my old ISP would kick me off after 2 hours and therefore i'd spend a good half hour listening to that noise repeat itself because it couldn't get another connection.

I remember using XStream (or something) where it was free, but you had a permanent banner going across the top of the screen lol.

lol yup, i think most of the videos i got, were about the size of a postage stamp (literally) and usually < 1MB or god-awful embedded things
