well im playing from beginning dark templar lvl 9 at moment on fury server nick name : Edgariokas if anyone wants to party up later on

bearsharmen are hell to level the first 30 level with :/

The heals only start to catch up then. At end game your a beast though and 1 if the best melle classes in the game untill patch 1.05
 
Got my game patched this morning (only 400mb or so not the 4gb i was expecting), should be online from 7'ish till late tonight.
 
I can't scale the UI!!! Can't believe that option isnt in there, looks crap with everything so bloody big. Am in game as Thorskin on the Fury server now.

Not overly impressed so far, feels too console like. UI is horrible and very limited ability to customise it. I hate the whole combat system, just makes even auto attack a chore and i don't like the combo side of it either. UI is gash. Why are they doing instanced zones with so few people in? Seems dead everywhere. Also the cutscenes while talking to quest NPC's is pretty annoying. And finally, UI is doing my head in!!!!

I shall continue playing as im only level 5 (not that i can find any quests or mobs that are that level now) but am not holding out hope.
 
There are about 5 instances of Tortage, seems stupid when its so empty. Why do most MMO's still not properly support windowed mode? This at least has the option but i hate the borders.
 
borders? I remember it being fine in window mode for me (i only play games in window mode, lol)

I've only played l4d that had borderless options :x
 
Yeah the title bar etc, WoW let you hide them so it looked fullscreen until you click something on the other monitor and the start bar appears.

Download a custom UI, defaults usually suck in MMOs.

There are no auto attacks in this to, you should never not be doing a combo really, your white hits will come from the directional attacks of whatever combo you're currently using.

If you're level 5 then you could have only come through the 1-5 area which has nobody but you in it, so don't worry about the population, zones are limited to 48 players (afaik) which is more than enough to give it an extremely busy feel.
 
I checked some of the custom ui's out but generally default is ok for me as long as i can shrink it.

Yeah i know there are none im just saying its monotonous clicking 3 buttons continuously.

I'm in a city and have seen 2 or 3 other players. 48 is nothing in a large area like Tortage.
 
haha talking to my mate about this. we started it from launch (pre ordered), did everythingt ogether till lvl 45ish.

one of the first days i got stuck under the stairs in the starter town, didnt have a clue how to warp back, no one in chat was talking to us so i stood there for half an hour blasting pirates -.-

had quite a bit of fun on the game tbh, can reember everything from it :D Just wish it was better later on :(

I am having the same trouble. Just seems to be pretty dead. I even tried just talking to people as they walked by but no one is very chatty. I can probably count the number of people on one hand that I have seen in game.

Not much of an MMO in my opinion.

The game seems ok and looks very nice but there isnt much to make me pay a sub for.

I'll be on Friday night if you are about and we can go looking for people lol
