I think its still using catalyst version 9.3 but the drivers should be new. Cant remember what the old number was!

EDIT: The beta being shown in the other thread is driver version 8.60, maybe it is wrong

Anyone else get the same in Win7 ?

Somethings not right here, go through the AMD site, it takes you to the 9.4's on the game.AMD site, but if you go straight to the game.AMD site, it says they are the 9.3's, but when you select which set to download, it says 9.4's.

EDIT: Just unsintalled them and found the problem, its only installing the CCC for some reason, as thats only what came up when the list was populated.

EDIT2: Yep, just checked Device Manager, and the WDM 1.1 driver is on (which reisntalls when you restart after uninstalling), so the 9.4 driver didn't install for some reason, just the CCC, so trying again.

EDIT3: Nope, wont install the driver, just the CCC, Device Manager still says WDDM 1.1

Downloaded and installed what is supposed to be the 9.4 package

Installed ok.

version number 8.60-090316a

Don't know if that is the correct version number but test results were

Vantage
9.3
3D Marks 14576
CPU 14402
GFX 14636

9.4

3D Marks 14310
CPU 14208
GFX 14345

So if they are the correct version they have a very small % drop in Vantage.

Was going to try Far Cry 2, but for some reason can't re-activate it via steam since my rebuild.

Will keep monitoring this thread for updates on whether they are correct or not.

Thanks for the heads up! Have hopefully fixed the 2D clock bug!

Anyone know what they fix/improve?

Edit: And they still haven't fixed the clock problem! Great, another broken release. I guess thats what I get for owning their most expensive card.

If you extract the drivers once downloaded, then do the Device Manager, Update Driver, and point it to the extracted 9.4's, the driver will install for Win7 apparently.

It updates, but the driver date on device manager is still middle of March
