It is possible to change the difficulty. I play on an advanced server quite a lot. Expert would be a little silly. But I feel advanced is perfect as when you reach the safe room its a sense of achievement. Rather than on normal everyone reaching it with full health and a pack.

Hmmm, see that sounds to me like the Infected team aren't good enough. The last game I played, only three of us made it and a couple were black and white. In fact, it's probably like that at least half the time.

With it on Normal, the skill of the infected is much more important, and so it becomes more about humans vs. humans, rather than humans vs. computer controlled horde.

As much as a survival mode will be fun for a few days, it'll soon become boring to be honest. I'd much rather have 4 new campaigns to complete. :o
 
Me, Knub, Opul and Knubs mate just had a really fun game :D

Playing on No Mercy against some randoms we decided to play the rush game on every map, the basics of this rush game is that you have to go as fast as possible through the levels, much lulz ensued when the other team started doing it as well, people getting left behind, mad rushes with tanks and everything!

On NM2 I did a heroic run through the map after the bit where you drop down, I got past the witch, past the tank and right up into the safe room, the rest of the team finally caught up and I opened the door to help them, but we all died as the tank got in ;9
