Having trouble finding an insurer that will insure a car for a shot period say 1 day for somebody with a Full UK licence held for less than a year and is 22, can anybody recommend any? :)
 
Get put on the policy that already covers the car in question as a temporary driver, if there is one.

Much cheaper and most day insure places have hiked up the minimum age.

I don't really want to do that I ideally need the insurance separate from the owner of the vehicle, I have found a website called daycover.co.uk that will provide the insurance for £28 fully comprehensive for 1 day, I think I will just do this much easier then getting put on as a temporary driver.
 
Managed to get quotes of Swinton and they are £5 more expensive, the daycover site is using Royal & Sun Alliance.
 
Good job I didn’t book with daycover, you have to have held a licence for 12 months, the Swinton site isn’t letting me book! It keeps saying cannot find a quote!


Edit/ Swinton is 12 Months aswell :(
