Which of these RTS for a LAN game today?

I haven't played either of these before so would appreciate any comments. I managed to get 2 copies (each) of World in Conflict and Rise of Legends cheaply the other day. :) Which would you recommend for a LAN game today?

Unfortunately it was going to be Homeworld 2 although I didn't realise the problems with it and Vista when I got the other copy. :mad:
 
The classics tbh...


Red alert 2 ( I'm not sure how exactly but my mate made lan working for it somehow, but that was in xp though).
Age of empires 2.
Rise of Nations.
Starcraft.
Empire Earth.
Age of Mythology.
Warcraft 3.
Total war games like Rome:TW or Medieval 2: Total war.
C&C General: Zero Hour.
The lotr: bfme games weren't too bad either.

Also a few new games:
Company of Heroes.
Supreme Commander.
Sins of a Solar empire.


Rise of legends is quite poor imo and WiC is not my cup of tea, very very boring imo after 2 games.


However: I'd pick WiC, because there are many people who like it.

Sorry, probably the way the post was worded there. It's just WiC and Rise of Legends that I've got 2 copies each of so unfortunately the pick is between the 2 of them or else I would be playing one of the classics.

It will only be for a couple of games so which of the 2 would make for the best game?

Yeah my reading sucked :p. Anyways I edited my post and also agree with the above: WiC.
