Specs are as follows,

I7 920
Asus Rampage II Gene
Patriot Viper 6GB
2x EVGA GeForce GTX 285
4x OCZ Vertex Series 30GB Raid0
Lian Li PC-V351B
Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 1000W
Custom water cooling

I've got most of the system together today and I am just blow away by the Rampage Gene board, after a few hours of tweaking I have got the following.

The only disappointing thing I have found so far about the board is any PCI_E speed above 101 makes the LAN port disappear  Hopefully this will be fixed with the next BIOS release.

Raid performance with the OCZ drive is outstanding everything opens in a split second loading time are next to nothing. It feels like a massive step up from my old VelociRaptor raid the only downside the 120gb of space.

I'll try and get a better camera and post some pictures tomorrow :)

Wow nice spec. I should imagine things get rather cramped inside the V351, would love to see how you've cooled it.

Hope the obligatory crysis benchies are forthcoming too, seems like a well balanced rig in terms of CPU/GPU performance.

I was planning on just using air cooling at the start but 100c + with the stock cooler at 3.3Ghz put an end to that :D

Crikey, though can't say i'm suprised with all that kit in such a small space! At least the gfx cards exhaust most of their heat out the system.

Looking forward to the pics matey

Impressed you've got all that to fit in there!! haha, nice work!

And that so makes me want 4 SSD's as well!! my poor little 7200rpm drive can only dream of being that fast haha

WoW really nice looking setup making me think about upgrading my HTPC which uses the V350 hehe

Not sure if I'm missing something but where have you stored the rad

Maybe he can't fit everything in :p

If you can please show us as i'm really thinking about upgrading now :p

Would imagine that the HD performance must blow everything away! The above SSD drives have to be the best upgrade right now. Wise i could afford 4 :D

I've been playing games on the system for a week now and no crashes or blue screens, I dont really have the time to run Prime95 for hours on end :)

Updgrading from a [email protected] Ghz this new I7 chip does seem faster and smoother, Going from 3x 280 GTX's to 2 285 GTX I've noticed zero difference in games I think HT, memory bandwidth and better SLI bandwidth have made up for loosing a card.

You should be able to make iut the rad in the lower left hand corner of the picture :)
