Spec me....a beer

Go into Apres on a Friday at 7.15pm and pay £4.50 for a pint of Peroni, make sure its in a Peroni glass, and then tell me it's not one of the nicest draught lagers you've ever had.

I drink mainly Carling and kronenberg when out and about but when in the confines of my home kronenberg blanc or Corona:).

I'm naughty I binge drink once or twice a month sometimes.

Not bad for an Asian beer! :D

heather ale, inns and gunn, spitfire, orval are all worth a try

but like someone has already said it really is about just picking em up at random and giving them a go to begin with. After a while you'll get a feel for what you like, just go from there.

Meh, we have peroni on tap here in my town.

Not THAT nice in all honesty...However my mate had peroni in italy and it tasted really nice apparently.

Anything by wychwood, old peculiar, black sheep, hobgoblin are all lovely

Never had the misfortune of black wych? Unless you like stout ofc :D

If I paid £4.50 a pint I wouldn't admit not liking it :p

We're lucky round here, got a local brewery and pubs that serve it all :D

Golden Tankard, Keelman Brown, Big Lamp Bitter, Blackout (13% :D) Old Rosie

To name a few...

I presume your talking about the Keelman in Newburn?

I cut short my favorite ever game of Left4Dead at the time you posted this to go there. Well worth it too.

The Keelman brown is fantastic and costs just £3.66 for a 2 pint jug, cant argue with that.

If your from the Newcastle area get yourself down there, it's a great location for an all day session.

Stick with English Beers mate!, there are way too many people on here recomending foreign beers, more resembling lagers.
The English make the finest beers in the world, No need to support foreign countries when your own is the pinnacle of Brewing. Any of the good independent breweries Ales are all of top Quality.
The only time you need to look abroad is for a decent Lager in which Stella, Kronenbourg and Export take some beating for the price and ABV%.
