I've been a couple of carboots today. Normaly they suck but today I got lucky. I spent £53 and got all these retro games for my Sega collection.

The top middle Megadrive game if you can't make it out to well is a Classics collection which contains Gunstar Heros, Altered Beast, Flicky and Alex Kid - In the Enchanted Castle.

Do you think I got a good deal?

I have Hundreds of games now. Sometimes I double up on games because people won't split them. If there's a market on OCUK forums for people who would like to trade, swap retro games let me know I may start a thread in the Members Market.

I absolutely love going to car boots for the retro games, I have picked up some real gems in the past. I loved the Master System I with the card slot, fav game was Enduro Racer, great music. I think they sometimes sold the cards with magazines though not sure??

Did the £53 include the master system?

It sure did. I already have about seven. :o The guy I bought it from wouldn't split. :)

Nice finds!
What car boots have you been?

I went to one at **** Sparrow lane and two in Cannock.

Nostalgia..hmm. Never as good as you remember it being. I would rather have the £50 in my wallet.

Some people blow more than £50 on a friday night. I think my £50 was better spent. :)

I only have about 39 Master System games. I love Fantasy Zone.

My biggest collection is my Megadrive games. I haven't counted them lately but there must be about 150+ games.

I bought The Ultimate Sega collection for the 360 so I can enjoy my games without damaging any of my original stuff. I just wish the 360 D-pad didn't suck so much. I wish Sega had bundled a Classic Megadrive pad for the 360 with it. :)

Master System/Mega Drive are good to collect as there boxes are plastic and more often than not can look as good a new. It's the SNES, GB, NES you have to worry about.

Sega Gamegear games were in card cases too. I was so glad to find some today that still have the cases as it's so rare these days.

Very nice haul :)
I'd love to go back to collecting retro stuff, never have the money now though :(

Best master system stuff I ave is , I went out and found every light gun game for it. I think there was about 8 or so of them. Unfortunately they are all pretty much poo.

I love the retro stuff, yesterday I was playing Rad racer with the 3d galsses on the NES.

Car Boot sales and charity shops are great for retro games sometimes :)

Wish I had my collection here with me but left it all in the UK :(
