Well after todays result, Wolves are looking a certaintity for Premier league football next season.

With 3 games left to play, Wolves require only 1 win to confirm 100% they are going up!

Home to QPR
Away to Barnsley
Home to Doncaster

Doesn't seem all that hard, I'm quite excited about the prospect of Premiership football next season. Wolves were last in the Premiership 5 years ago and they were not too strong, however we have a much stronger team now. My only concern is needing a defender or two and a strong midfielder. Then I feel we hae a good chance to stay in the Premiership, and hopefully build on what we have got.

72 goals in 43 games is a great record! Looking forward to next season. Just need to tighten our leaky defence a bit.

Ebanks-Blake, Kightly, Keowgh and crew are all set.

Such a shame about Luton, but with their finances plus a -30 poitn start to the league, not a massive shock..... shame though

I'll be looking out to see how Ebanks-Blake handles the Premiership. He's been fantastic in his couple of seasons in the Championship, and I guess it's time to see if he can make the step up.

Where in http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17788922 does it state no club threads? Plus Don's make the rules, not follow them......;):D

Ooohh get her

It was a Don that made the rule fyi :)

Also, while I'm being pedantic, have you seen the Wolves this season?

They need a helluva lot more than one defender and will be battered from the opening day unless they spend at least 10-15 million on new players. Or are you one of those fair weather Wolves fans as I haven't seen you in here discussing the Wolves for a very long time, do you only pop up when they are doing well?

I see you have a fancy new Wolves signature as well, you must be so proud.

Yes, lets hope he can manage, like my previous post states. I don't think Wolves lack the goalscoring skills, just the defence can be flakey sometimes. All good defences start with the midfield too...

I also wish WBA would have managed to stay in the Premiership, would have been good, us, WBA, Villa and Birmingham (if they come up too) all in the Prem.

I'm not the most active person on the sports forum, thats correct, however questioning my support of the team isn't really one I need to debate.

Used to be a season ticket holder, until my job involved Saturday work (and that was when Wolves were mid-table season after season).
I have been to around 12 games this year, including 4 away games. (Work permitting)

I agree however, money will need to be spent. Lots of our team may struggle with the bigger boys. Lets hope Steve Morgen gets his wallet out, but on the funding given so far, I don't see him NOT giving cash out, he did buy the club for £1 with a contract stating that he must put in £30 million over 4 years. God I do miss Jack Hayward though, his heart was really in it. Morgen is too though, so all is good.

So don't question me on the rules of a sub forum you rarely enter ;)

I've also been to more Wolves games than you this season then and if you take the gold n black specs off and see them for what they are you will see a team that are limping over the line, Reading and Brum have been awful this year and have never capitalised on Wolves continuous slip ups, if they had Wolves would be in the play-offs at best and going on the form of Sheff Utd and Cardiff they would struggle to get through.

Who do you support G|mp?

I agree G|mp, Wolves have made it difficult for themselves, with the form of others we should have been promoted long time ago, but sub-standard form has hindered us.

When all our players are playing too their best Wolves are one of the best teams in the Championship, however form is a difficult thing for us.

I know if we don't buck our game, we will be firmly rooted to the base of the league, but on a good day we can be a 12-14th placed team with a couple of new players.

Any reason for supports the Gunners? I would like to think you have family history from there.

I'm a firm beliver in supporting your "local" team. Hence my growing up in Willenhall, and loving Wolves. Mind you following who your parents followed is alos accepted as long as they have a basis for their support also.

Before anyone bitches about my above opinion - IT IS JUST THAT...... just an Opinion!

Nah they were the best team when I decided to start watching football although I might support MU this season if they win 5 trophies because they will be the best ev0r !

I do wish football went back to it's roots, being the best for the best! Not because the team has the best finance to get the best players in the world. I miss the late 80's/early 90s etc, when the best teams in England were the best because they had the ability to find the best "local" talent and grow the players raw skills....

Ahaha, I get it, it's funny because he doesn't post here much.
