IIRC the E class is known for rusting quite badly - it gets a lot worse too, plenty of structural rot.

CLK's too aparantly they went through a 2 year period of not galvernising them either properly or not at all, my brothers clk is a rust bucket

You sir are spot on, its also a lot larger than I was expecting. I know its a 2+2 but when your used to teeny weeny cars rolling out of lotus its abit of a supprise.
