To be honest, with what happened at the weekend, Liverpool on form, Chelsea slipping and letting in 3 goals, there's a chance for Liverpool to sneak through. I think Utd will find it difficult against Porto, due to 2 aways goals. But I reckon Arsenal can get through to the Semi finals as well. Barcelona will no doubt beat Bayern :D

EDIT: Sorry the Villarreal link isn't in English.

Very nervous about Wed night in all honesty. I think with yet more injuries cropping up it's going to be a tight one, even though Villareal have two of their best players out as well compared to last time.

Chelsea look vulnerable at the back, and with Terry out it might be that much harder. However there's also the chance that they've already used up their crapness for the time being. The extent to how Gerrard is injured will be important, irrespective of what some red fans will say. Liverpool being in this position and the importance of this match has also made me think of whether any huge refereeing decisions will occur to bite Chelsea hard. There's also the Hillsborough factor that Liverpool are sort of in right now, tomorrow night would be nice for the fans.

Man UTD's a hard match to predict, but I believe they will come good as they seem to be past their not so good spell. However that's not always saying much. I get the impression Man UTD have had a lot of bum games this season, but fairly importantly to them they have walked away with three points very often. It's all about taking chances and being able to defend, and it's certainly possible that a 0-1 result occurs if certain people e.g. Vidic are over their naff spell.

Aye Barca are pretty much through lol. Poor Bayern. Got to say though, I'd be pretty upset if I was whoever they beat 11-1/2 in the last round. You'd be thinking you were the pits or something haha!

Chelsea's collapse against bolton, and liverpool's 4-0 win should be all the warning chelsea need. Missing Terry will be a worry but they should do it.

UTD are probably better off going in 2-2 than 2-1 up. SAF overcomplicates it in europe but Weds it will be easy for him- send the team out to attack.

Can't see arsenal not getting through, especially if Senna is out.

Both Barca and bayern could well rest players but hopefully that tie is over!

The only chance we've got is if we approach the game in the exact same way we did the Blackburn game at the weekend and also play to our absolute maximum. Go for them from the first whistle, try to get ahead early and then try to control the game and build on that lead.

I agree with lizard regarding Gerrard's injury. I know everybody was raving about Essien last week (and he did play well) but he was marking a player with 2 injuries. If Gerrard's fully fit and firing then he could be unstoppable. It wouldn't suprise me if we won on the night but i really can't see us going through.

Chelsea
Man United
Barca
Arsenal

This.

Can't see 'Pool getting three at the Bridge. Barca are already through. I think Arsenal will make the biggest meal of it, maybe even having to do ET.

I expect us to see Porto off though, even with our unpredictable form. Apart from that Hulk guy they're nothing special at all.

Not looking forward to tomorrow's match - Ferdinand and Vidic arent on the form they where (whenever it was they last played together). Utd can still do it, but its by no means definite

Chelsea are thru - even without Terry, I cant see Liverpool getting three goals away from home against them, even with Gerrard (and not letting any more in the other end)

Bayern are out also - but I think Arsenal can make it but it will be a fraught night at AG imo

We won't be going through, I really can't see it anyway.

They are bloody good at home and I expect us to be knocked out with a draw.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the House of Scouse will go through tonight. I don't think there is a better number at present than Torres. He seems to have got over that early season blip and is hitting form at exactley the right time. The key man though will be Essien.

Arsenal shuold be boosted to learn that Marcos Senna has been ruled out for tonights game.

I expect Bayern to win against a weakened Barca side.

As for our lot ??? . A lot has been made of Saturdays supposed stuttering performance against a dogged Sunderland team. Certainly not stellar football and bar some very poor positional play from Foster for the goal 2-0, would have deflected a lot of the sensationalist criticism. That said will the real Patrice Evra, Michael Carrick, Cristiano Ronaldo please stand up !!!! The game is there for the taking as Porto must know sitting on a 2-2 draw is suicide. We know we can score past them and that we can defend a lot better all the way through the team. I am thinking a 2-1 win to us

I'm not completely confident that Chelsea will get through tonight, Liverpool are capable of scoring 3 v any team and if our forwards play as poorly as they can we could be in trouble.

+1 I'm really quite nervous for tonight, our back line is shaky at best and without terry it won't be impossible for pool to score 3 against us. Just hope drogba creates problems at the other end and finishes them off.

Barca
Chelsea
Porto
Arsenal

They are in order of how confident I feel about them. Man U still look shaky so I think they'll be out. Not really worried about chelsea getting through - terry being out isn't that big a deal and even if gerrard plays essien will be all over him again. Yeah we fell asleep a bit at the weekend but we won't make the same mistake twice - especially not against liverpool!

I reckon the barca game will be quite uneventful.

The arsenal game is quite interesting - I think they were slightly unfortunate in the first leg and have the extra quality to go through. Most likely game to go to extra time I reckon.
