Can I bring ham back from Spain?

Bit of a strange question but can I bring a whole Serrano ham leg back from Spain when I go?

Shouldn't be a problem from a EU state, but you may have to justify the amount is for personal use.

ive love it too, prefer the spanish ham to the italian, much better quality than parma ham etc...

Iberico is soooooo much better. Serrano is a poor mans Iberico (especially de bellota)

I guess so, I was visiting a friend last week who'd done just that. Very tasty it was too.

A whole leg now that is quite a serious purchase. From what I remember it's expensive generally speaking and in a Corte Ingles it was a lot per kg.

Where would you plan on getting it out of interest? Shouldn't be a problem bringing it back imo.

Iberico is very good too as someone pointed out.

Agreed - it's also pretty difficult to source over here compared to Serrano and it's ooooh so good. No other ham compares.
