Tough decision to make, but she will still be able to see her parents and will have a better quality of life in Japan.

looks like its more a case of future or no future, id definately take having a future..
Shes still going to be with family, and she will be able to see her family still

Well she won't see them for 5 years fair enough...but at least she is with her aunt. Not completely alone.

Precisely TBH anyone who has/is moving away from home makes this choice and it's not as if they're going to stop her from visiting her parents.

I bet its shorter than my train 'home'

Its not like she cant pick up the phone, or heaven forbid use skype and its magical video calling......

No different from boarding school even, shes 13.

She'll have a much better life in Japan, and still be able to visit her parents. Staying in Japan is easily the best choice... but I would have hated having to leave my parents at 13, and I'm surprised she is even allowed to decide, being a child.
