Looking for bike parts (no luck on ebay/google)

Hi,

I have a CBR600 and just tidying up a couple of loose ends, the last being a Cover Cowl Stay for the right hand side. The details for the left hand side are:

64213 Mal 6000
cover L Cowl Stay
Honda ABS


The usual Ebay / Google searches are coming up empty, do you guys have any reccomendations of places you have used to get odds and sods?

Not a terribly interesting thread so here's a pic of the bike!

Nice F3! I have a bit of a soft spot for the F2/F3s.

Not sure what you mean by a Cowl Cover- Do you mean the bit that sits inside the fairing in the recess behind the front wheel? If so these are a bit of a mare to find on Ebay because nobody seems to know what to call them, but try "Y-piece" "v-piece" "fairing inner" "lower infil" etc. Failing that try DK spares, Reservoir Cogs, and also phone up find-a-part, I've had some success with all of them.

shame it's not an f4i as i might be able to help. nice bike though. :)

CGrieves - isn't it an F2? i remember mine being different on the tail i think.

Definitely an F3, the F2 had no ram air (I've got one in my collection). I think the F3 had two incarnations, latterly with a slightly more sculpted tail (rather than facelift, perhaps call it an arse-lift?)

Every time I ride one of these I wonder if we really really need anything more!

Hiya, Yeah, this bit (well, the other side is missing):

I wasnt sure what it was called myself - i just copied the text off the back of the left one!


I haven't been riding long but i'm loving the bike :) Nice and forgiving for a noob like me!
 
Ah, gotcha! Do a search on the "popular auction site" for "honda cbr600 cbr 600 fw top fairing inner panels 95-98". Voila!
