just in case any one is interested ive seen l4d on a well known on line supermarket with free delivery as well.
 
i got it from steam for half price and yes....it's a superb game.

just thought i would post this for the people who missed the half price deal on steam a while back.

Paid £25 for it about a month ago.

Then again, I have had over £10 worth of fun on it already, so I can't say it's been wasted.
 
I paid £33 on release for it, but I still feel like I owe them money for TF2, so I didn't mind :)
 
Yup, I paid £33 for it too and I'm more than happy with that price.

Quickly before I get it, how demanding is it from a system in comparison to sayyy CoD4, which my comp struggles with on full resolution?

Probably less demanding, at least in multiplayer. Single player can be a little more demanding as your PC has to deal with a lot more AI.
 
Okay cool might give it a go then for 15 quid. Thx for the heads up, considering i was kinda deciding between this and TF2 for a bit of fun FPS'in.
